Dog Whistle – User Guide

Learn how to effectively use our professional dog whistle training tool

1Use Cases

  • Use the dog whistle for basic obedience training, such as teaching your dog to sit, come, or stop using different sound signals. Pair the whistle with voice commands to build stronger habits.
  • Interrupt unwanted barking and effectively stop your dog from barking by using the manual mode to deliver a short, high-frequency sound that distracts your dog and encourages quiet.
  • Ideal for daily walks, indoor training, or issuing remote commands when your dog is farther away.

2Mode Selection

Dog Whistle Mode Selection Interface

At the top of the page, you can switch between two modes:

  • Manual Mode 🖐️
In this mode, the whistle sounds only while you press and hold the blue button below.
  • Continuous Mode 🔁
In this mode, the whistle starts with a single tap and keeps sounding until you tap again to stop.

3Whistle Control

Dog Whistle Control Button Interface
  • The large blue bone button in the center is the main control.
  • It displays the text "Press to whistle."
  • Depending on your selected mode:
    • In Manual, press and hold to make it whistle.
    • In Continuous, tap once to start and tap again to stop.

4Frequency Adjustment

Dog Whistle Frequency Adjustment Interface
  • Below the whistle button, you will see the frequency indicator (e.g., 12292Hz).
  • Use the slider bar with the dog icon 🐕‍🦺 to adjust the sound frequency.
  • Frequency range: 100Hz – 24,000Hz
  • Lower frequencies (100–5,000Hz) are audible to humans.
  • Higher frequencies (above 10,000Hz) are mostly heard by dogs.

5Tips

  • Dogs respond differently to various frequencies — try experimenting within 10,000–20,000Hz for the best response.
  • Use continuous mode for training sessions, and manual mode for quick commands.

💡 Pro Tip

Every dog is different! Spend time finding the frequency that gets the best response from your specific dog. Start with higher frequencies around 15,000Hz as they are most effective for dog training while being less audible to humans.
